Here I go again - let's see if I can do this without too much stalling!

Lovers. An interesting prompt when my mind is currently focused on world-building, and creating a setting that feels more interesting to me than what I've got? The thing with a world is that I want something that's weird and interesting and yet grounded enough that I could connect to it.

Later: I've come back with some resolutions and a desire to see these two out. This prompt isn't fully checked out, but this is how they meet, and they are destined to fall for each other given time, so.

title: slip and fall
setting: right after berkant's fall, on Earth
warnings: N/A.
characters: Berkant, Lars.
word count: 431 words.
notes: The prose needs polish, but this is better. This is a start. I'm keeping this.

The question is, whose? I want to say Lars, as he's had about zero development since I started here, but let's see what inspires me...

From the future: weeks later I've written this in three sessions and I'm not happy with it. Yes, it gives me a new character. Yes, it gives me some new things. No, I don't like how young everyone is. Perhaps as a starting point, but not...not for how things go. I need to think about it.

Also it ends abruptly because I decided I needed to move on.

title: prophetic dream
setting: during the college years, set early in the plot, if it remains plot
warnings: N/A.
characters: lars, lotte, eriol, charsa.
word count: 1,203 words.
notes: Ye gods this got too long. Lotte is new, this plot introduction angle is new. The club idea is new. I'm not sure I like any of it, but I'm keeping Lotte.

Enemies! A good prompt. A solid prompt. Most of the enemies in my imagined plot are faceless, so the characters can conflict with each other. Do I want an antagonist? Do I need one?

I think I do.

title: click
setting: post-fall, pre-death, while eriol and berkant are on the run from demons. (tag used it 'plot-era', as it's set during the main plot of my theoretical outline - compare/contrast with academy-era, which ought to only show up in flashbacks)
warnings: threats of violence, nothing explicit.
characters: Eriol, Berkant, Melchom. Mentions of Lars, implied Odette.
word count: 555
notes: This turned out better than I expected! I now have a named villain who's all kinds of cruel, a moment where Eriol utterly loses control (this doesn't happen often for her) and all kinds of plot established. Also demonology!

None of my characters currently have siblings! Except I don't know much about them yet, so--

--so I wrote it and came back and filled out details.

title: big sister
setting: during academy, after classes.
warnings: none.
characters: Berkant and Odette.
word count: 340
notes: Leaving out a summary as there's just not much here. It's a single scene, and I doubt I'll keep it for canon purposes - I can't see a reason for them to room together this early, and I obviously don't understand Odette at all yet. What I learned here, however, is that Berkant can fall asleep while studying, Odette has a deceased younger brother, and while angels use them as hosts, they don't merge. (Also I need to define more of how that works.)
