self-introduction (rambling)

junkstarsI don't know what to put here yet! It's been a long time since I had to start a journal like this fresh - but as self introductions go, this one is terrible. Ahem.
I'm junkstars, twenty-three, and I have an interest in writing, art, and playing video games. I'd like to use this journal to write about myself, write out ideas and plans for an original piece I want to write, and as a vehicle for checking out communities.
I'm currently reading, among other things, Intruder by CJ Cherryh, A Distant Mirror by Barbara Tuchman, and manga by Shirow Masamune. I'm playing Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Unchained Blades, and Conception II. I'm watching Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (the live action show), Slayers, and Vampire Princess Miyu TV.
...As the above could tell you, I'm currently binging on media thanks to some stress going on, and hopefully I can readjust my schedule in the following months so there's more writing crammed in there.
